Key, Kids! Time for the Rusty News!
Here's what's happening with your favorite musical manglers
The Rusties continue to add new songs - they're currently working up some Sinatra and some Stones, among others.
But the big news will be the debut of ORIGINAL RUSTY STRINGS SONGS!!! It's definitely in the plan, so watch for that. And be sure to leave a message on the Guestbook if there's anything you'd like to hear.
Pam Beery, as many of you know, sings, plays flute and keyboard with the Rusties. Pam just added a new instrument to her retinue - the accordion!! Believe it or not, she's never played one before, but was pumping the squeezebox like a real pro after only a few minutes! Now we're busy adding songs she can play it on. We've used it for a couple of gigs already, and expect to see more of it in the future.
Children throughout Delaware rejoiced when the recent school levy passed, as it means Rusty Strings lead guitarist Bob Claymier will NOT be coming back to the classroom, and will instead keep his job developing the Anti-ballistic Spitball Shield, also known as A.S.S.
Kevin Carrico is currently combing the Rocky Mountains in search of Yetis. He's hoping to convince one to become a roadie, as they are very strong and don't make a lot of noise generally, unlike the current bunch of Rusty roadies. Plus, they work for ice cubes.
And speaking of Yetis, Jack Burgess continues his quest to be the hairiest Rusty. Since joining Rusty Strings, Jack's hair has grown over a foot. And that's just the hair on his legs!
